Thanksgiving is a pretty big event in our house. We love to cook and try new things every year, but still stick to the traditional turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing etc. We keep eyes peeled weeks or months in advance for new recipes or techniques to incorporate into our meal. With prep work beginning Wednesday morning and dessert ending around 7 at night here’s some various photos of the blur that was Thanksgiving dinner! Enjoy!

Our meal for 4.5 adults (and two young kids) consisted of:

  • 4 lb. Turkey breast
  • Garlic smashed potatoes
  • Mushroom gravy
  • New Green Bean Casserole (from delish.com, a healthier version of the traditional recipe)
  • Clover rolls (the clover shape kind of disappeared during the second rise)
  • Cranberry orange relish
  • Peas
  • Stuffing
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • White Wine

Pictured below:

And after all that hard work….time…for…pie!
