Make-A-Wish Pittsburgh and Macy’s Believe Holiday Campaign
Did you know that your local Make-A-Wish® chapter and Macy’s are currently celebrating Believe, a holiday campaign benefiting Make-A-Wish®! The campaign helps benefit children in your area who are battling life-threatening illnesses.
Visit Macy’s Website to email Santa, or print up a letter to drop off in the store! There’s lots of cool holiday apps to be had as well!
For every letter to Santa dropped off at Macy’s stores’ big red mailboxes, $1 is donated to Make-A-Wish® (up to $1 million). The campaign is a great way to get kids involved in helping local children in need during the holiday season.
Make-A-Wish® is one of the world’s leading children’s charities, granting a wish somewhere in the United States every 37 minutes.
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Kids say wishes give them renewed strength to fight their illness, and their parents say these experiences help strengthen the entire family.
Every year, 27,000 children in the U.S. are diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition. Last year, Make-A-Wish reached more than 14,000 children, just over half. With the support of Macy’s and its customers, Make-A-Wish can grant more life-changing wishes.
