Easy Chocolate Ice Cream
Easy to make chocolate ice cream without using an ice cream maker. How cool is that?

- 1 Tbs of Coffee OR 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder in 1 tablespoon hot water, sit for 5 minutes
- 4 ounces bittersweet chocolate chopped fine
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk about half a container
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- pinch salt
- 1 1/4 cups heavy cream cold
- 1 quart sized container that can go in freezer 9x5 loaf pan or plastic Ziploc container works
Chocolate Base: In a small bowl: combine coffee, chocolate, and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave in 10 second intervals, stirring in between, until chocolate is melted - about one minute. Stir in vanilla and salt. Let cool.
Mix and Freeze: Whip heavy cream until it forms soft peaks. Fold one-third of whipped cream into chocolate base. Fold in remaining whipped cream until combined.
Freeze in airtight container until firm for at least six hours or up to two weeks. Serve with or without your favorite toppings.
