Wow, it’s been awhile since I last posted. Halloween, sickness, home improvement projects, and Thanksgiving I can’t believe it’s now December! The past few years, my cousin hosts a party at her house the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It’s a great way to unwind from Thanksgiving and welcome the next round of holidays. This year we wanted to bring something fun to drink and decided on French Martinis. About half the people that normally show up for this event showed up, sooooo….we still have some leftover martinis we’re trying to drink up. (I am just glad we did not make more!)

In case you’re wondering, yes – yes you can make a massive quantities of French Martinis for your next party. The whole matter of the pineapple juice ingredient made us think for a second if you could make a bunch of french martinis and have on hand for a party. We made a single test one and after a few hours in the fridge there some of the pineapple settled to the bottom. Not a big deal.

Later in the day we decided to make about fifteen servings of this delicious and colorful drink. I happened to have a pitcher with a plunger type thing in it, and it was perfect for making the mixture frothy before serving. No need for a cocktail shaker unless you want one. (Pour over ice into a shaker and shake, and serve if you like.)

So here’s my french martini recipe, it has more Chambord than others, but give it a go with your favorite recipe. (Try switching the Chambord and vodka amounts.) Your guests will thank you!
